How do you choose the best house to hold an open house for? Is there generally just one agent hosting an open house at a time?

Well I have seen HGTV on TV and they usually have 2 people hosting an open house...


One to greet folks that walk in and tell them about the house...


And one other person to actually take people on the tour...


You usually have some refreshments on hand like drinks and cookies...


You make the house you are selling as attractive and clean as possible to bring out its good points...


Making a house smell good with candles is always good...


It makes people remember how good it smelled when they walked through...

Reply:Usually the house is a new listing. Make copies of a picture of the house with general specs and have those and your business cards available. If the open house is for agents only, many hosts offer lunch.
