I plan on purchasing an unmanaged hosting plan and would like to know the best hosting provider ?

I use GoDaddy shared hosting and it has been fine for me. I have not used their dedicated hosting.

These provide a "virtual" server with all the benefits of a dedicated server at a fraction of the cost. Be sure you have adaquate security and backups - my former provider said yes but didn't!
Reply:Godaddy web hosting sucks . I moved to my websites to http://aplis.net/ . I do not know whether it would suit you.
