Why are there protests over China hosting the Olympics?

I was reading a small article in today's newspaper that some people are protesting China hosting the Olympics. Why is this?

Communist China mistreats its own people, it's occupying Tibet, it threatens Taiwan, and it supports a North Korean regime that oppresses the North Korean people and threatens the rest of the world.

Here's what I mean when I refer to genocide. "The Dalai Lama warned Tibet faced 'cultural genocide' and appealed to the world for help."

Reply:There may very well be a good reason. such as " build a better mouse trap". Why should they have to go out into the world and fight battles when they can bring the warriors to their home turf and see their strength close up. They are about technologies for mind control are they not? You do the math and translate it into words.
Reply:Yup, it's Tibet. I'm sorry, but one of these days, China gonna wake up and find out it went gangster capatalist overnight. I just can't see China trying to hold on to it's "Marxist-Maoist" background and still take in Hong Kong, have more driver that several western countries combined and be the biggest consumer of oil, or at least getting there real fast. Remember folks, these folks still shoot "Criminals" in the back of the head and bill the family for the bullet.
